Secret Lover
The moon shone brightly like a big flashlight in the sky. She raced across the kitchen like an indy 500 car on the racetrack. Ripping apart the kitchen frantically, she searched for her one true love: Four inches of ecstasy.
All of a sudden, she caught sight of her lover. She wrapped her hand firmly around the ice-cold exterior of conventional wisdom. Tonight was the night. Tonight was when two become one. Tonight.
In the bedroom she lies among the silken sheets with her lover beside her, enveloping the sweet liquid dispersing out of her partner. After she has taken in every drop, she opens her eyes and kisses the Dr. Pepper good night.
Fun fact: This got published in our annual literary magazine!
